Terms & Conditions

Please read the Terms & Conditions of AquaMaster Academy Pte Ltd. Upon payment made for any services provided, you (Our Customer) acknowledge4 and agree to be bound by the provisions of the Terms & Conditions. If you are not willing to be bound by the Terms & Conditions, please promptly inform AquaMaster Academy Pte Ltd and its representatives, reserve the right to discontinue services in the event that a customer does not comply with the Terms & Conditions contained herein.

1. Disclaimer

You will be deemed to have accepted the Terms & Conditions of the Academy upon registering with any of the services or programs provided by AquaMaster Academy Pte. Ltd.
AquaMaster Academy Pte. Ltd. reserves the rights to accept, reject, or terminate any person from the services or programs provided by the company. In the event of a situation that is beyond the control of AquaMaster Academy Pte. Ltd., we will at our sole discretion take commercially reasonable steps to cancel, postpone or discontinue any program.
AquaMaster Academy Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to use any images taken during the period of the services or programs provided to the participant in any way deemed suitable for promotional purposes without further approval nor payment. However, in the event if you prefer that the images not to be publicised, you will notify AquaMaster Academy Pte. Ltd. through writing, in which the company will take commercially reasonable steps to remove the images involved.

2. Indemnity

You (whom are hereinafter referred to as the “Student”), Parent or Guardian of the Student hereby indemnify and agree to keep AquaMaster Academy Pte Ltd., its owners, management, instructors and employees of the services or programs fully indemnified against all claims, loss or damage whatsoever in respect of any death, injury, disability or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause in connection with the services or programs provided to the Student.

3. Payments Information

i. A Registration Fees of $50.00 upon enrolment of each student is required to facilitate the administration process.
ii. Training Fees is payable before the commencement of a Program for New Enrolment.
iii. Subsequent Training Fees will be due on the last training session before the start of a new Term which whichever applicable.
iv. Please indicate Invoice No. when making payment. Payment can be made via:

v. Fee paid is non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be prorated or carried forward. Fees are to be paid in full even if student is not able to attend lessons. In accordance to our Company Policy, students can contact the academy to request for replacement class or rescheduling of classes instead.
vi. Training Fee is to be paid promptly upon invoice issued. Receipt will be issued upon payment received.
vii. Training Fee is subjected to change with ample notice given to the students.
viii. AquaMaster Academy is committed to delivering quality programmes and classes to our students, and at the same time, ensuring our coaches are fairly remunerated and taken care of. As much as our coaches are committed, professional and reliable, we seek your understanding to treat our coaches and programmes with the same respect as you deserve.

4. Closure of Swimming Pool

For classes conducted in private pools, such as but not limited to condominiums:
It is the duty of the students to be informed of their respective residence’s pool maintenance. If the pool is scheduled for maintenance or is unsuitable for swimming due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact the office of AquaMaster Academy immediately at +65 9004 2871. The lesson will then be cancelled and arrangements for a replacement will be made. However, lesson will be deemed chargeable and no replacement lesson will be arranged if the students fail to inform the school of the pool closure at least 2 hours before the lesson.

5. Additional Costs Imposed by External Parties

The school will not absorb or pay for any additional costs such as but not limited to administrative charges or pool usage levies requested or imposed by external parties such as but not limited to the management agents or offices where the student’s swimming lesson venue or pool is located. Such additional costs, if necessary, will have to be borne by the student.

6. Bad Weather Conditions

Students can request to cancel and reschedule lesson due to bad weather conditions with the following:
6.1 Students must provide an advanced notice of 2 hours prior to commencement of lesson should they wish to cancel and reschedule due to bad weather conditions.
6.2 If the request to cancel is less than an hour and coach has already arrived at class location for the class, the lesson may be deemed conducted and chargeable with no rescheduling provided.
6.3 It is the responsibility of the student to follow up with the academy for the rescheduling of the lesson affected by bad weather conditions. The academy will not reimburse, prorate or carry forward lesson fees in the event that the students are not able to reschedule any of the affected lessons.
6.4 For lesson that has commenced but was paused, please note that the lesson will resume if the weather conditions allow within the next 10 minutes. (Example: No heavy rain or lightning risk).
6.5 Lesson is deemed conducted upon commencement, no replacement class, rescheduling or extension of time will be provided. Lesson will be conducted as usual in light drizzle weather conditions.

7. Absence (Medical/ Personal/ Vacation)

7.1 Students who will be absent for their lesson must duly inform the academy at least 2 hours before the start of the lesson. Failure to inform will result in forfeiture of replacement lesson.
7.2 The academy will not reimburse, prorate, carry forward or transfer the lesson fees in the event that the students are not able to attend lessons or schedule any replacement lessons.

8. Replacement Lessons

Replacement lesson must be scheduled and conducted within 2 weeks from the date of the affected lesson. Theacademy will not reimburse, prorate lesson fees or provide any additional replacement lessons for students who are unable to attend or schedule replacement lessons. Do note that the academy is not obliged to carry forward, prorate, reimburse or transfer any lesson fees paid during the period of absence.

9. Withdrawal of Class

9.1 To withdraw from the programme, kindly give the academy one month’s notice via email to info@aquamasteracademy.sg. Otherwise, lesson fee balance will be forfeited. The academy is not obliged to refund the remaining lesson fee balance in the event of withdrawal on short notice.
9.2 Absence from lesson does not indicate withdrawal from lesson unless the withdrawal notice is received and approved.
9.3 Students who wish to take an extended absence from the programme for 2 weeks or longer, kindly inform the academy via email info@aquamasteracademy.sg.
9.4 The academy will not reimburse, prorate or carry forward fees in the event that the students are absent or not able to attend any replacement lessons.
9.5 No-Refund Policy: Once the lesson has commenced, there will be no further changes allowed. All students will be encouraged to attend replacement classes to make up for any absences.
